Finally home...
Aug. 21st, 2006 08:01 amFlight home was uneventful for the most part, save the fact we couldn't get the AC started until the engines were fully on... until I got back to Los Angeles.
Baggage claim and getting a shuttle took forever, then I was the last to get dropped off. Got home after midnight.
Learned this problem stems in large part from the fact the JonBenet suspect came in a mere 20 minutes after me. The people at the shuttle pickup said something about heightened searches, and there were copters overhead the whole time, which I attributed to Orange Level at the time. But considering all the press that had to be there, etc., that all makes sense.
Just about to get going, though I'd rather stay home and sleep in. Only two days of work this week then WorldCon!
