Meet me (over) halfway...
Nov. 16th, 2006 10:45 pmAt 26,500 words now of 50,000. Very proud of myself for that, all things considered.
And for the record, I do respect those who don't feel a need to do something like this (I know I'm friends with a few of you). Indulge me a little at least, as it has at least given me an incentive to post more regularly. And try to get my fiction chops still going. I didn't want to drop the ball after the story I worked on and workshopped at WorldCon. And when you have a day job doing "something else" sometimes fitting in the discipline is tough.
But I am glad to be doing it, seriously.
Though it's also helped that work has been light. Boss has been out of town. She'll be back tomorrow but probably won't come in to the office, as her flight back comes in fairly late.
