Finally, some change is happening...

shanmuirbrodenWell, they've finally made some decisions at the music company.
The new perm person starts Tuesday and they've given me the ability to stay temp until the end of the month to train the other person. I gave the temp agency the heads up as to the scenario, and asked them to start keeping an eye out for me again around mid month provided nothing else comes along.
In the end, it's probably for the best. The people I know will miss me, they seem to respect me a lot. But I'm way overqualified for what I'm doing and we all know it. And they really want someone who will be devoted for the long term and just happy being an assistant.
And that's not me, I'm afraid.
Other than watching regular income disappear after almost six months, I'm actually kind of looking forward to where I might end up next.
